Age: late-20s
Pronouns: they/them
Married to Masaki Daisho / PolyamorousA lover of experimentation and excitement, Sui is a bright if a bit ethically questionable researcher of Aetherology and Akasha. With all their fascination for the world, they have learned to be guarded in first meetings, masking their curiosity with a more refined and coy guise to puzzle the other out, practiced over years among Ishgardian High Houses. When comfortable, though, they have a mischievous energy, that is both playful and eccentric. They love to amuse themselves, and find joy in almost anything, which sometimes is to the detriment of others. Especially when it comes to oddities of the surface-world, it can be hard to tell if Sui really is naive or if they are just using it as an excuse.Impatient and determined, Sui can be remarkably stubborn and head-strong, a trait that carried them quickly through studies and tormented many teachers. It makes them more direct than usually needed, but they are also confident in what they want, and are not afraid to chase after it. For better or worse.
Biography
Born within the waves of the Glass Ocean, their parents escaped from the decimation of Bunlai by taking the plunge into the sea to a community of Au Ra that separated from Sui-no-Sato to create Kishiko-no-Sato. Due to water-aspected aether infused regularly during pregnancy, they are a sea dragon au ra that can comfortably live below and above water, a unique hybrid created within Kishiko-no-Sato that is especially sensitive to water aether and ocean currents.Though their parents were guards for the village, forced to remain within the confines of the air-bubble village, Sui continued to swim towards the horizon and wanted to visit the similar community of Raen that they were named after and find the remnants of their family in Nagxia. After failing to find Sui-no-Sato themselves, their adventuring had begun all the same, and they found a brief respite in the South Sea Isles where they learned the geometric techniques of Arcanists. While learning to give shape to their own aether, they began to study the power of gemstones and eventually were directed to the Arcanist Guild in Limsa Lominsa to complete their mastering of the egi.Fascinated by the power of the gemstones, they began to study corrupted aether crystals, leading them to Professor Lamberteint in Ul'dah and the Thaumaturgy Guild that promised unbridled power and opportunity. Studying the effects of corrupted aether under the Professor, and the separation between Thaumaturgy and Black Magic with the Guild, Sui learned of its alternative, White Magic. Though initially unsuccessful to harness world magic for Black Mage spells, they venture from the Guild and their studies with the Professor to Gridania in search of a white mage.Their stay in Gridania was brief, filled with frequent arguments with the Conjury teachers who had little patience for a rambunctious and eager foreigner. They found more luck learning from the forest itself, hearing the spirits speak of the importance of sharing their aether and returning what they borrow from the world. Eager to learn more and feeling held back by the restrictions of the Conjury Guild's lessons, they argue with the leaders until they're barred from the Guild hall and learning under the tutors. Reaching a dead end, and still unable to manipulate world magic, they flee the despise of the Conjury Guild for Ishgard. When trying to find a way into the city without introductions, they come across a group fending off a dragon attack on The Observatorium, and assisted with securing the safety of the scholars. Out of gratitude, they are given a formal introduction to the Durendaire household, and are permitted to stay in Dragonhead to continue their self-study. Eventually proving themselves useful and intuitive about the stars, they enter an agreement with House Durendaire to study at the Athenaeum Astrologicum in return for protecting the Observatorium during the escalated Dragonsong War. They stayed in Dragonhead and took advantage of the high house patronage to access many of the records in the Observatorium and trading for books on world aether, the fall of the Magi, and maps of the known world. After the conclusion of the Dragonsong War, they continue to travel between Ishgard and Dragonhead as the city rediscovers itself, using the wide expanse of Dragonhead to finally practice and succeed with manipulating world aether.Their expertise in manipulating both internal and world aether drew the eye of the Scions and they were sent to join the Eorzean Alliance healers during their multiple encounters with the Garlean Empire. Midst their studies in shielding magics, they attempted to teleport themselves to where they were most needed, and ended up in the First where they helped revitalize the areas destroyed by Light, but also gained knowledge of the two shards.Once they returned to the Source, they became heavily interested in learning about the other shards and origins of the calamities, driving them to join the newly reformed Students of Baldesion. Occasionally, they leave to answer the call for their opinion or guidance with the latest mystery being researched by the Students, but are usually left to their own devices and experiments.Focused on learning how dynamis and aether interact and influence magic, they currently purposely over-use their internal aether and seek umbral influences to attempt consciously manipulating dynamis around them. Due to this, they appear more celestial and if you look at them directly underneath the sun, you might even think they are a bit ... see-through.

About Me
World: Sargatanas
Age: 137
Pronouns: he/himQuiet and awkward after a century of solitude, he can come across as short, a habit due to his sole connection to society having been young male kits lost in forests with him. However, be patient enough to file the bark back a bit and there is a shy former Wood-warder wanting to break free of the isolationist mindset he grew up with.
A Brief History
Deep in the foothills of Skatay, Keld was trained to protect his home above anything, though he rarely saw it. Taking up the Green Word in his youth, he lived in the forest completely in solitude for nearly a century. Disinterested in mating, he only returned to his village when called to whisk a kit away. After losing another kit to the trials of becoming a Wood-warder, Keld began to be disillusioned with their isolationist society that refused outside help even against the toughest of foes that further thinned their numbers and the newer threats that were not so easily lowed with arrows.Exiled for his questions against the wisdom of their continued isolation, Keld traveled to Dalmasca before the 7th Umbral Calamity, and become embroiled in the resistance of Garlemald before it was pressed out after years of fighting. After the Eastern Alliance liberated Dalmasca, Keld joined the Rumta-Zaraam to pursue war criminals escaping persecution, and crossed the sea to Eorzea, chasing the rumour the ghost of Gabranth was seen crossing the sea.

About Me
World: Gilgamesh
Age: 53
Pronouns: he/they
Terrified of commitmentWith a teasing smile just a second away from laughter, Munin believes in enjoying life thoroughly. A socialite at heart, Munin finds enjoyment in time spent with others; sharing a drink, stories, or warm touches. Expressive with a flair for dramatics, Munin projects an aura of flirty, confident, and a bit of a handful to most. It is easy to view him as a youthful Viera looking for fun, trouble, and some company. However, that is quick to fail when trying to connect more than skin-level. Guarded about his past, and fearful of losing those close, Munin is wary of anyone growing important enough to hurt. Caught between fleeing and pushing back, they can be hard to draw into very serious or personal conversations. Those that he connects with though, he does deeply and firmly. Munin's trust runs deep, perhaps even naively so, and they will defend their people to the grave.
A Brief History
Munin was a kit many summers ago, born under the fading spring stars. He was unhappy, forced to stay midst the kits and village, never allowed to range far from home and facing exile to be curious. Once puberty hit, it became more obvious what else troubled Munin as things that mattered little as kits became obvious, friends being whisked away deep into the forest and others to the village. While the forest beckoned him, it was not his in the ways it was for the Wood-warders, nor was he permitted in it in the same fashion. Expectations lay heavy until Munin snuck out of the village and left the life that denied him for so long, forcibly claiming the name that marked his place in the society that turned their backs.Alone in the forest, Munin stumbled on an ancient mystery that marked him, though he hasn't quite figure out how ... yet.

name: Sui or Quinn
pronouns: they/them only
age: old enough that I had dial-up internet
timezone: EST (UTC−05:00)my favourite things: levelling / roulettes, Crystalline Conflict (casual), watching vtubers, venue-hopping, plotting stories, my correct pronouns being used, maintaining firm separation between character and player, flexing between casual cafe RP to heavier plot-driven, and of course, consent is key~Since I work full-time, I'm usually online on the weekends, but fill a few of those with venue work. When I'm not online, I'm usually watching Dan & Phil videos, listening to BTS, doomscrolling, or reading!Otherwise, I've been RPing since about 2007, so you could say ... I've been around. I am more used to instant-message style (similar to FFXIV RP) and forum posting, though I started RPing in FFXIV in 2023. I've been writing in general for years, and have been part of fan-run zines for BTS with some of my stories!I love in-depth stories and plot lines that impact our characters in how they see and interact with the world. I have had plots that have spanned over years and love seeing it all come together.I am not looking for any type of romantic relationship OOC and will not ERP with strangers.

Hideaway Hometown
